Hard landscaping
Driveway or path paving
A driveway gets driven on every day, so most of the work is in what you can't see: digging out, a compacted sub-base, edging that holds and falls that take water away from the house. Green Stripe Landscaping lays front driveways and garden paths for homes across Preston, Chorley, Penwortham, Bamber Bridge and our home town of Leyland.

Driveway or path paving
We dig out to the right depth, lay and compact the base, set the edging, then lay flags or paving to line and level. Paths get the same treatment at a lighter build. Front paths, side paths to the bins, and paths running through the back garden to a shed or patio are all common jobs. We often combine a driveway with fencing or a new front garden in one visit.
Materials
Concrete flags, Indian stone and porcelain, with brick or block edging to suit the house. We'll show you options at the site visit and explain how each one wears and weathers.
Drainage
We set the falls so rainwater runs off the driveway or path and away from the house, into a border, gully or drain. We'll talk through the options for your plot at the look-over.
Where we lay driveways and paths

FAQs
Questions we get asked
Can you do a driveway and a fence in the same job?
Yes. Mixed jobs are normal. Tell us everything you want doing on the plot and we'll price it as one job where we can.
How long does a driveway take?
It depends on size, the dig-out and access. We'll give you a time estimate with the price after the site visit.
Do you take the old surface away?
Yes. Lifting and taking away the old surface is part of the job, and we'll set it out in the written price so you know what's covered.
